• Chris Audia is named Area Director of Marketing of BENCHMARK

Global hospitality company BENCHMARK has named Chris Audia the new area director of marketing. Previously an area marketing manager, this will be a promotion within the company for Audia. 

In his new role, Audia will oversee the marketing communications for BENCHMARK's properties in Racine, Wisconsin (Wingspread REtreat & Executive Conference Center), Boothbay Harbor, Maine (Spruce Point Inn) and Roanoke, West Virginia (Stonewall Resort). Audia first started with the company as a marketing manager for Stonewall Resort.

Audia graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Virginia University where he studied business administration. He has earned several awards including the gold and bronze Adrian awards from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, the Best Marketing Effort Award from BENCHMARK Global Hospitality and the Best Marketing and Advertising Campaign from the West Virginia Tourism Office. He currently lives in Bridgeport, West Virginia with his family.

1. How long have you been working in sales/why were you initially drawn to this industry? 


Visit Bucks County president/COO, Jerry Lepping, announced plans for retirement. He will continue in his role until June 30, and current vice president, Paul Bencivengo, will assume the role on July 1. Lepping will then serve as an advisor to the organization through November 2019.
