If you haven’t visited Stryxe in Madison yet, it may be time. This facility opened in February 2016 and features a one-stop shop for venue rental space, team-buildings, get-togethers and more. Groups as small as 10 and as large as 500 are equally at home in this space where 12,000 square feet of gathering space includes three private rooms. And for fun? Well, Stryxe has 20 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, plus 31 amusement and parlor games. Gourmet gastropub-style eating is part of the experience.

Leah Neumann was recently hired as the catering and delivery director for FIG & OLIVE, a restaurant with eight locations across the country. Neumann is working to expand the brand’s catering opportunities in California.
Judging by the crowd at June 16’s Taste of NJ event, everybody loves an event where the purpose it to eat and drink to your heart’s content. The Taste of NJ, supported in part by a grant from the NJ Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism, as well as corporate sponsors like Johnson & Johnson, drew a large crowd of food and drink lovers eager to sample some of the state’s offerings. Hyatt Regency New Brunswick hosted the successful event that was held booth-style in one of the hotel’s event rooms.

The NJ Food & Wine Festival was held this past weekend and it was a big success, despite the gloomy, rainy weather. This year marked the festival’s sixth and it was held again at the Crystal Springs Resort in Vernon Township, NJ. The festival has a perfect home at Crystal Springs…its Restaurant Latour is a consistent winner as a top restaurant in the state…and then there’s the wine cellar. Award-winning doesn’t even describe it.
