Hey, reader! Yes, you reading this. Want to get involved in the Northeast M+E Best of 2019 readers' choice awards?

Then vote! (And make sure to do it now or before it closes on May 13.)

We've changed the ballot a bit this year, but the goal is still the same: to recognize the best in the industry. Following are five compelling reasons to vote:

  1. Your vote could mean the difference between a winner and runner-up.
  2. Don't see someone on the ballot who should be on it? Write it in and we'll add them.
  3. It doesn't take a lot of time. There are 25 categories, but you only need to vote in at least 10.
  4. It's a neat way to support the people and companies that make the Northeast meetings and events industry great.
  5. Unlike the impending 2020 presidential election, voting for NEM+E Best of 2019 is a pleasant and positive process for all participating parties.

NJ.com, the state’s largest website for local news, sports, entertainment and more, announced the Wildwoods as winner of the Best of the Shore—Favorite Shore Town reader poll. Readers nominate their favorite shore town and then voted from a list of eight.

The area won with 35.5 percent of the vote.

“This is a great honor,” says Norris Flowers, president, Destination Gettysburg. “To be selected by families themselves makes this designation even more meaningful. Gettysburg is a great family getaway, and the experience this destination offers children of all ages keeps growing.”
