If you haven’t hosted an event in Lehigh Valley yet, it’s about time you do. The area has a number of venues and offers a number of free activities your guests can enjoy during their downtime

“Lehigh Valley is home to many things that families, couples, or individuals can visit without having to spend any money to do so,” says Michael Stershic president, Discover Lehigh Valley. “We want to make sure people know that these options exist to them whether they are visiting the area or live here full-time.”

Discover Lehigh Valley, the CVB of the area, has compiled a list of free activities broken up into eight sections that include festivals, wineries and the outdoors among others. Guests can visit museums, such as the Liberty Bell Museum and The Banana Factory, stroll through the Garlic Fest in October and tour a guitar factory and museum.

On September 1, over 1,500 businesses across the country illuminated their buildings with red lights to draw attention to the devastation that the live events and performance art industries have faced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

According to a survey commissioned by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), frequent travelers feel safer when hotels adhere to AHLA's Stay Safe guidelines, which detail cleaning protocols for hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

 

Through responses to bi-weekly surveys, Global Business Travel Association members have indicated that domestic busines travel is ramping up after months of struggle.
