• IBTM World Partners with MPI Foundation to Launch Networking Event

Ibtm world is partnering with Meeting Professionals International Foundation and NBTC Holland Marketing to launch the foundation’s networking event, Rendezvous. The event will be part of the show program for ibtm world 2017 and ibtm latin america 2017.

“We are pleased with this opportunity to partner with Reed Travel Exhibitions in expanding the reach of the MPI Foundation’s Rendezvous,” says Paul Van Deventer, president and CEO, MPI. “Meeting professionals from around the globe attend ibtm world, which is great exposure for the foundation and its effort to fund education and pan-industry research.”

Rendezvous is slated for Nov. 30 at Opium Barcelona nightclub and is an exclusive, ticketed event only open to ibtm world attendees and MPI members.

“The Wednesday networking event is well known for being the social highlight of ibtm world,” says Graeme Barnett, senior exhibition director of ibtm world. “The fact that we can evolve our Club Night event (at Opium Mar) into Rendezvous along with NBTC Holland Marketing should make for an outstanding evening at Barcelona’s premier nightspot.”

NBTC Holland Marketing is the exclusive destination partner and host for the 2016 event.

All proceeds go toward investment in the MPI Foundation, which funds a range of scholarships, grants and pan-industry research for the meetings and event industry.
