The beaches of Wildwoods, N.J., recently received some much-deserved recognition.

Editors and the travel writer of the magazine selected the top 10, which are named in random order. The magazine noted:
Last week, South Jersey Magazine named 10 businesses in the city of Haddonfield, N.J., to its Best of the Best 2015 list.
Judges that selected the finalists looked at every town in the tri-county region of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties. Readers then went online to vote for their favorite places.

TripAdvisor has placed Gettysburg, Pa., at the top of the website’s list, Historical Family Vacation Spots You can Afford.
The world’s largest travel website, TripAdvisor identified nine of America’s most historically prominent destination spots and pulled their vacation rental review scores. They also calculated average prices and how that compares to hotels.
TripAdvisor awarded Certificates of Hospitality in 2015 to the Wildwoods Convention Center and the Wildwoods Boardwalk.
The travel website hands out the certificates to hospitality organizations that continue to attain outstanding traveler reviews. Customers give the convention center and the boardwalk stellar reviews, with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Atlantic City has proved once again that it is becoming the next golf hot spot on the East Coast with the announcement of Golfweek’s 2015 Best Courses You Can Play rankings. The city, which boasts 17 courses, was featured on the list four times.
“The Golfweek rankings are more positive proof that Atlantic City really delivers a high quality golf experience across the destination,” says Harry Bittner, president of the Greater Atlantic City Golf Association and general nanager of Shore Gate Golf Club, which was recognized.
Visit Philadelphia has been ranked third on a U.S. city list of social media engagement based on a study done by independent social media agency Sparkloft Media.
Cities that topped the organization were Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Results were based off of liking, sharing and commenting on posts. Visit Philadelphia was also ranked fifth in numbers of fans and followers.
While Visit Philadelphia ranked third, it did beat out its direct-market competitors—New York, Washington D.C., Boston and Baltimore—on Facebook and Instagram.
Brides Magazine, a national publication, named The College of Physicians of Philadelphia to their Top 50 Best Wedding Venues in America list. Winners are selected based on ratings from nearly 1,000 brides nationawide. The college was the only venue selected in the entire Philadelphia region.
