In our Winter 2017 issues, we’re featuring the tech companies that were part of the 2016 ibtm America TechCollective in partnership with DAHLIA+. Because we can only fit so much in print, we decided to post an extended interview with Michael Doane, marketing manager, CadmiumCD.
What are some of CadmiumCD’s outstanding features for meeting/event planners?
For meeting planners who want to enjoy equal parts work and play, Maragaritaville Beach Resort has a new deal. For a limited time, planners booking groups now through Dec. 31 will receive things like upgraded rooms, discounts for St. Somewhere Spa and a complimentary morning or afternoon break.
For the next two years, Meeting Professionals International will provide meeting management services for the Southeast Education Conference. MPI is responsible for managing and developing the overall program for the 2017 and 2018 conference, which is hosted by SEC's four Florida chapters – Tampa Bay Area, Greater Orlando, North Florida and South Florida – known as TONS.
Every meeting planner knows that even the most dynamic, impactful and talked-about meetings in a planner’s career can hardly be considered successes if they went massively over budget. Since A/V plays such a large role, planners should seek to work closely with their A/V supplier to make sure a rational technology budget is in place.
On Tuesday, May 12, planners in the tri-state area will have the opportunity to visit iPlay America and experience all it has to offer.
A $10 million renovation has just wrapped up at The Westin Philadelphia.
All 294 guest rooms received facelifts that included new furniture, paint and wall coverings, carpeting and updated décor. Two of the hotel’s dining features—Winthrop & Valentine and The Lobby Bar—underwent major changes giving the spaces a more sophisticated and contemporary feels.
SportsEvents Media Group has named the Wildwoods Convention Center as a 2015 Readers’ Choice Award winner for Top Venue in New Jersey. The media group publishes SportsEvents Magazine, a publication that focuses on helping sports event planners.
