From June 8-10, Associated Luxury Hotels International held its 12th Annual Executive Women in Leadership Conference at Hotel del Coronado in San Diego/Coronado California. ALHI is a leading independent Global Sales Organization in the Meetings & Incentive industry, from which they hosted 65 senior level women executives in the meetings and hospitalities industries. These women included hotel executives and meeting professionals.
The iconic Grand Hyatt New York in Midtown Manhattan recently debuted a multimillion dollar renovation of its conference level, including 12,000 square feet of meeting space and 18 breakout rooms. Designed by New York City-based interior design and architecture firm Nemaworkshop, the new design reflects the energy of the adjacent Grand Central Terminal and the New York City skyline.

1. What are you looking forward to the most in your new role at Westin Riverfront Beaver Creek?
Radisson, a world-renowned hotel brand, has partnered with The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City. Now known as The Claridge—A Radisson Hotel, the hotel was built in 1930; the 24-story hotel was known as the Skyscraper by the Sea and is a landmark reminiscent of the Jazz Age.
On Aug. 15, 2016, The El San Juan Hotel & Casino will temporarily close to undergo a multimillion dollar renovation; the changes are set for an end date of early 2017. Guest rooms, pool area, meeting and entertainment spaces, food and beverage venues and spa and fitness facilities will all be renovated.
After more than a year, the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge announced the unveiling of its $45 million transformation, ending a three-phase renovation.

The hotel—the first casino to open in Atlantic City and managed by Mohegan Gaming Advisors—is offering customized group packages that start at $199 per person, per night and inclue upgraded guest rooms, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, WiFi, three meals a day and more.
After one-and-a-half years, Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in the Pocono Mountains, Pa., is set to open its doors.
The grand opening will of the brand-new resort is slated for July 1. The hotel—the first Kalahari on the East Coast—features 457 rooms and suites, 65,000-square-feet of meeting space, a spa, an 18-hole, Donald Ross-designed golf course and a number of retail shops. The hotel is the largest indoor waterpark in the state of Pennsylvania.
The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia is about to embark on a major renovation.
The facelift for the hotel, located on the Avenue of the Arts, will begin later this year. Wilmberly Interiors are the architects and interior designers for the updates, which will include new guests rooms and meeting spaces, an updated lobby and public spaces, and a new restaurant, bar and lounge. It is slated for completion in spring 2016.
