Take a Spin at Pole Position Raceway for 23 Cents

In response to the recent gas tax increase, New Jersey’s Pole Position Raceway is offering a 23 cent race to all of the visitors to their Jersey City location on Wednesday, Nov. 23. The offer is only open to visitors that present a gas receipt as proof of a fill-up between Nov. 1 and Nov. 23.

The 80,000-square-foot facility has two quarter-mile tracks and karts that can go up to 45 MPH. They also offer V.I.P. spaces for private parties and corporate events as well as arcade games, flat screen TVs and authentic racing memorabilia.

When Pigs Fly…at The Inn at Leola Village

I can’t think of a better way to spend a mid-fall weekend than with a country getaway, and I was lucky enough to escape this past weekend for a quick trip to the Inn at Leola Village. This charming inn took home top prize for Best Inn at our Best of PA Readers Choice event this year, and I decided it was time to see it for myself. Anyone who knows me knows I am a pig fan through and through. Come inside my house, and there are pigs everywhere—on top of my refrigerator, on my walls, and I even have one in my windowsill.

Madison’s Stryxe is a Hot Spot for Gatherings

If you haven’t visited Stryxe in Madison yet, it may be time. This facility opened in February 2016 and features a one-stop shop for venue rental space, team-buildings, get-togethers and more. Groups as small as 10 and as large as 500 are equally at home in this space where 12,000 square feet of gathering space includes three private rooms. And for fun? Well, Stryxe has 20 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, plus 31 amusement and parlor games. Gourmet gastropub-style eating is part of the experience.
