The MPl Philadelphia Area Chapter recently announced the 2016 Jack Ferguson Scholarship winner. Congratulations, Maya Northen, President of Chimera Travel!

The Jack Ferguson Scholarship sends a multicultural MPI PHL member to the Annual MPI World Education Conference (WEC), allowing them to keep up with the latest industry trends and receive continuing education credits.  MPI Philadelphia Area Chapter is pleased to partner with PHL Diversity to create this scholarship to honor PHLCVB President and CEO, Jack Ferguson, for his many years of dedicated service cultivating Philadelphia's diverse meetings and conventions industry, and championing the inclusion of the city’s minority business communities within the industry.

Ms. Northen has been a member of MPI for nearly 10 years, and is currently the co-chair of the Membership Retention Committee.  She had previously served in several other volunteer roles including six years on the Board of Directors.
