Available at the Pocono Mountains property, The Howlers Peak Ropes Course allows teams to venture through an aerial circuit from the safety of a climbing harness. Members can cheer each other on as they cross bridges, balance on ropes and climb through obstacles.

The Ritz-Carlton Debuts New Look

The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia recently completed a $25 million hotel renewal project. This landmark hotel is inextricably tied to Philadelphia’s past, but the thoughtful restoration modernized it without stripping the storied past. The Ritz-Carlton was originally built as The Girard Trust Company and was completed in 1908. It was designed as a reproduction of the Pantheon in Rome, and the Neoclassical-style structure features 9,000 tons of Georgia marble!

Eating local foods is a much-talked-about trend, but drinking locally is quickly catching up.

Catering That Does More than Taste (Really) Good

Whether you’re bringing in lunch for the team or scheduling a lunch and learn, office catering isn’t usually something that sparks a big conversation. Grateful Bites catering, however, will inspire a conversation because this nonprofit café in Flemington has a very special story behind it. As the mother of a son with developmental disabilities, Karen Monroy knew that Zachary’s options for employment were limited once he graduated from high school. She began thinking about what kids with autism and other developmental disabilities enjoyed, and cooking came to mind.

New Venue Spotlight: Kalahari Resort Roars Into the Poconos

With the largest indoor waterpark in the United States and the third largest convention center in the state (Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively), it’s safe to say that Kalahari Resort has been eagerly anticipated. It was a massive undertaking and one that, according to owner Todd Nelson, was expected to take at least five years. Instead, they finished in three and created 1,000 jobs along the way.

Room With a View: Have a Meal on the Water Aboard the Moshulu

Whether you need to wow clients, treat colleagues to a well-deserved celebratory meal or simply show out-of-towners what your city has to offer, the Moshulu sails away with the prize. This Philadelphia landmark occupies a prime Penn’s Landing location with river views across to New Jersey. The Moshulu is permanently moored—so there’s no actual sailing taking place—but it’s easy to settle into your table and feel like you’re about to set sail. It is the world’s oldest and largest square rigging ship still afloat.
