• Nemacolin Woodlands Resort Offers New Lodging Package

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort has announced a new Unlimited Adventures Package.

Situated on nearly 2,000 acres in Farmington, Pennsylvania in the Laurel Highlands region outside of Pittsburgh, Nemacolin Woodlands features 320 luxurious guestrooms, suites, townhouses and private upscale homes but it’s the sheer variety of amenities that sets this resort apart. There’s championship golf, including the Pete Dye-designed Mystic Rock golf course and a new Shepherd’s Rock Pete Dye-designed course opening this summer. There is a Shooting Academy; Wildlife Academy that features everything from safari tours to dog sledding; Adventure Center with zip lines and climbing wall; and Jeep Off-Road Driving Academy. There is a casino with 600 slots and 28 table games. Hungry? There are 15 restaurants and lounges, including Lautrec, a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond restaurant experience. And then there’s 32,000 square feet of event space for meetings and events. It comprises three ballrooms, a lecture hall and 25 meeting rooms.

The new lodging package incorporates 14 popular activities and entitles guests to participate in those activities as much as possible from 1:30 p.m. on the day of arrival through 12 noon on the day of departure.

Curious what those activities are? They include archery, air rifles, fly casting clinics, golf at Mystic Rock, golf at Shepherd’s Rock, group horseback rides, nursery tours, QuickJump free-fall adventure, rock climbing wall, ropes course, sporting clays, target paintball, Wildlife Adventure enrichment tours and the 250’ zip line. Golf rounds must occur at 2 p.m. or later and sporting clays have a maximum of two boxes of ammo a day per person.

This package, which starts at $345 per person plus taxes and resort fees, runs through the end of October. Guests also receive a discount on 15% on other activities, as well as a 25% discount on the Kidz Klub.
