TRYP by Wyndham, Wyndham Hotel Group’s urban lifestyle brand, will be moving to the neighborhood Money Magazine recently named “America’s Coolest,” Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville. After TRYP by Wyndham hotels renovates a former school building to showcase the creative spirit that the hotel and neighborhood share. The hotel will infuse art and culture to celebrate the spirit of the urban traveler.

The thriving art and design scene emerging from Lawrenceville makes it a strategic destination for the trendsetting TRYP by Wyndham brand. Guest will be able to experience this trendy yet under-the-radar neighborhood before everyone else. Building on the unique space and central location, the hotel’s design will add to the community’s scene by incorporating the work of local artists and designers. A street-level restaurant and rooftop patio dining will feature dishes that were created through collaborations with local chefs.

The hotel is expected to open in early 2019 and will be the fifth U.S. location for TRYP by Wyndham, which recently opened locations in College Station, Texas; St. Augustine, Fla.; Xi'An, China; and Dubai, UAE - the brand's largest at 650 rooms. As with all their hotels, an addition of 2,000 square feet of meeting and event space will make the property business-friendly as well.
