Over the next two decades, it slowly expanded with more properties around the Midwest, moving into the Northeast, South, West and Canada. And this summer, the greater Chicago area will get its first resort from the brand.
Dream Hotel Group, home to its Dream Hotels, Time Hotels and Unscripted Hotels brands is now offering a 12 percent commission for qualified groups and meetings that are booked and actualized in 2018. The offer is available to conference and event organizers, third-party meeting planners and group travel agents now through December 31, 2018.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYC & Company—New York City’s destination marketing organization— announced that 2017 was the eighth consecutive year for record-breaking tourism, with the City welcoming an estimated 62.8 million visitors last year, an increase of 2.3 million visitors over 2016.
IACC – Americas Connect 2018 was recently held in Philadelphia but honored a New York University student with the Doris Sklar scholarship. Established 15 years ago in memory of longtime meeting professional Doris Sklar, this scholarship is awarded to a NYU hospitality student.
This year’s recipient is Camille Aké. She is a senior and will graduate this May with a degree in Hotel and Tourism Management with a concentration in Event Management and a minor in Food Studies.
