When a venue calls for a temporary structure, most planners think of tents, but the Palas structure might just change that mindset. “The tent industry is really evolving,” says Matthew Holt, national new business development manager at Arena Americas in New Jersey. “We can now bring in temporary buildings in a short period of time.” The Palas structure is, as Holt puts it, “a big Lego set,” and can be assembled with heating, air-conditioning and flooring in just one week. It can be either fully glass or partial glass, depending on the client’s needs, and the roof can be customized to include company logos or branding. The structure can be two levels and can accommodate around 850 people.
