The Police Security Expo will remain in Atlantic City Convention Center for the next three years.

Also known as the Industry SuperShow, the expo features the latest products, services and technological within the industry. Items range from flashlights to uniforms, transport vehicles, forcible entry tools, weapons, crime scene investigation aids, wireless services and digital cameras. It has been held in Atlantic City since 1987.

“Meet AC is thrilled that the Police Security Expo has elected to remain with us here in Atlantic City through 2018,” says Jim Wood, president/CEO, Meet AC. “The convention industry has a tremendous impact on Atlantic City’s economy as evidenced by the tremendous impact the Police Security Expo will have on our local hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and casinos each year.”

More than 6,500 attendees visit the city during the expo annually bringing in more than 3,000 rooms. The estimated economic impact is expected to be more than $4.2 million annually

Retreats and off-site meetings present wonderful opportunities for groups to collaborate, strategize and build relationships away from their normal office environments. With proper planning, these sessions can be highly effective and even pivotal in setting a new direction. However, off-sites may present some unforeseen challenges that can quickly deflate the energy in the room if not anticipated and addressed in advance.

 

Although several cities are opening up again, many offices are still enforcing work from home policies. As they did when Stay at Home first began, plenty of organizations are still offering webinars with insights on how to tackle the new normal. Gaining new knowledge is a great way to use extra time that might have been spent on a commute.
