There’s no better way to start off your new year than mingling with fellow industry professionals.

The MPI New Jersey Chapter is offering the perfect opportunity to network at their January New Year Meet-Up. You’ll gain face-to-face time with others and nibble on tasty bites and beverages.

The event is on Thursday, Jan. 7 from 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. at the Liberty House  Restaurant in Jersey City. Bonus—the event is complimentary for all attendees. Description: http://files.ctctcdn.com/3358a426201/546798dc-d3f5-4242-90b9-1e5398e553bd.png

Invite meeting, event and hospitality industry colleagues to introduce around—the networking event is a casual way for guests to jump into conversation and understand what’s going on around the state.

For more information and to register, visit the chapter’s website.

Pittsburgh may be known as The Steel City, but it has plenty of greenery, too, and opportunities for groups attending meetings here to get out in nature. The Pittsburgh CVB, which has the tagline “Only in Pittsburgh,” has proudly shared the news that the Great Allegany Passage was named a winner in the 2022 USA Today “10Best Readers’ Choice” travel award contest for “best recreational trail.”

In early March, Meeting Professionals International released a statement regarding the invasion of Ukraine:

“In a show of support for the people of Ukraine, MPI will immediately suspend business with all companies in Russia. In addition, any plans to formalize a chapter in Russia will be paused….We remain concerned for the well-being of our community and our MPI members in Russia and Ukraine who were already seeking to climb out of the shadow of this pandemic and are now experiencing these unprecedented challenges.”
