The Montclair Food & Wine Festival is an annual event held in the early summer in Montclair. The weeklong event includes food and wine tastings, gala dinners and book signing events held at venues such as the Montclair Art Museum and the Manor, as well as local independent bookstores. Proceeds benefit St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and MACHE - Montclair Academy of Culinary & Hospitality Education. —5-6 fresh blackberries
—1 shot Busted Barrel Silver Rum
—1 shot Blue J Syrups Lemon Elderflower
1. Muddle the blackberries, Busted Barrel Silver Rum & Blue J Lemon Elderflower together in a shaker.
2. Add ice to the shaker and shake for 20-30 seconds.
3. Pour all into a mason jar or other similar glass and top with ginger ale.
4. Give it a quick stir to mix and garnish with a lemon.
