SommCon, an education and training conference for beverage professionals and enthusiasts, will return this year Nov. 16=19 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. This year, more than 40 sessions will be offered through keynote sessions and educational classes. These include The Nightmare Scenario, Dealing With a Difficult Guest, Digging Into Unique Terroir, Hungarian Furmint: Ancient Grape, Modern Wines, Blind Taste With the Masters and many more. On Wednesday, Nov. 16, certification opportunities will be offered to those interested; the main conference is held Nov. 17=18. SommCon is open to 300 registrants. Conference packages, single day passes and the opportunity for free conference registration, if eligible, are all available.
