• Terra Glamping Brings Luxury Camping to the Northeast

    FROM THE Winter 2018 ISSUE

    Get Glamorous

Bringing an event outdoors always adds excitement to a gathering, but it can also add inconvenience and extra hoops to jump through for planners. Terra Glamping Events takes away those challenges with their service that extends across the East Coast. Co-founders Rebecca Martin and David Levine have experience with event production and luxury glamping, and have created an offering that makes it simple to take any event to the next level. Terra Glamping rents out furnished safaristyle tents and sets them up anywhere: “We can put these tents in any location from a national park to a NYC rooftop bar,” says Martin.

The company also offers event production services, which range from location scouting to bringing in chefs, mixologists, spa treatments, fire pits, yoga kits, entertainment and more. After realizing that there was not an existing market for glamping on the East Coast, Martin and Levine expanded beyond their flagship location in Northern California to offer this new service to New York, the Catskills, the Hamptons and beyond.

Events are completely customizable and the event production aspect means they have thought of every detail to make glamping work for each client. Add-ons like restroom trailers, space heaters, Turkish towels and robes, hammocks and telescopes are available for tents, and camp butlers can stay on-site for the duration of an event to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Potential glampers can pick from a selection of packages that includes the Morning Coffee and Tea package or the Yoga package, or opt for a completely personalized event. Rates run per tent, with a $5,000 minimum rental.
