• Topgolf Makes Golf a Perfect Team-Building Activity

    FROM THE Fall 2017 ISSUE

Topgolf makes socializing a sport. Whether it is a happy hour, work breakfast, lunch hour or any other kind of gettogether, Topgolf provides an unforgettable good time. Through its premium experience of play, food and music, Topgolf is inspiring people of all ages and skill levels—even nongolfers—to come together for playful competition. There are currently 33 Topgolf locations, with two in New Jersey (Edison and Mount Laurel) which entertain 10.5 million guests annually, and have made it become the world’s largest digital golf audience.

Each venue features high-tech, climatecontrolled hitting bays for year-round comfort, food and beverage, live events, music, hundreds of HDTVs and renowned hospitality. Topgolf venues are able to accommodate large groups (six guests fit in each bay), and can host anything from one bay up to an entire venue buyout. Topgolf is known for bringing interactive experiences that facilitate shared moments and deep relationships. Some of these programs include Topgolf U golf lessons, weekly leagues, The Topgolf Tour competition, KidZone parties, social and corporate team-building events, and the World Golf Tour (WGT) app.

“Topgolf is creating the best times of your life both in-venue and online,” says Senior Communications Specialist Morgan Wallace.

Retreats and off-site meetings present wonderful opportunities for groups to collaborate, strategize and build relationships away from their normal office environments. With proper planning, these sessions can be highly effective and even pivotal in setting a new direction. However, off-sites may present some unforeseen challenges that can quickly deflate the energy in the room if not anticipated and addressed in advance.
