The US Commerce & Trade Research Institute recently honored VisitPittsburgh for their dedicated work.

The organization presented the tourism promotion agency with the 2015 Pennsylvania Excellence Award, which recognizes companies that have achieved success amongst their local business environment.

USCTRI researches, evaluates and recognizes companies across a number of industries. To be recognized, businesses are evaluated with an emphasis given to meeting and exceeding industry benchmarks for customer service, product quality and ethical practices.

"We are excited and honored to have received the 2015 Pennsylvania Excellence Award," says Craig Davis, president/CEO, VisitPITTSBURGH. "I'm incredibly proud of every employee at VisitPITTSBURGH for all of the work they do to promote the Greater Pittsburgh region."

Pittsburgh may be known as The Steel City, but it has plenty of greenery, too, and opportunities for groups attending meetings here to get out in nature. The Pittsburgh CVB, which has the tagline “Only in Pittsburgh,” has proudly shared the news that the Great Allegany Passage was named a winner in the 2022 USA Today “10Best Readers’ Choice” travel award contest for “best recreational trail.”
