The Montclair Food & Wine Festival is an annual event held in the early summer in Montclair. The weeklong event includes food and wine tastings, gala dinners and book signing events held at venues such as the Montclair Art Museum and the Manor, as well as local independent bookstores. Proceeds benefit St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and MACHE - Montclair Academy of Culinary & Hospitality Education. The wine industry has exploded in Pennsylvania. From humble beginnings, the number of wineries has increased from as few as 12 in 1976 to over 200 in 2014.
